Book Review “Beyond Belief”Josh Hamilton

Josh Hamilton is an incredible success story. Hamilton has been through it all. He was at rock bottom and is now climbing back up to the top. He was a keen baseball fan as a child and was able to play in many older leagues even before the age of ten. His strong swing and arm made him a dangerous player for his peers in little league baseball.

He carried the same strong morals his parents had instilled in himself as a boy, even though he grew up. His family was the most important thing and he found happiness in being at home when his friends went out. After entering high school, he quickly realized he was a major league prospect and decided to make it his life goal to get to the big leagues. He realized his dreams when he graduated from high school. After accepting an offer for a signing bonus of four million dollars, he became number one in the major-league draft.

Hamilton’s journey to stardom was difficult. He had his parents follow him throughout the minor leagues, to ensure he didn’t get in trouble. Some of Hamilton’s teammates and coaches thought this was strange. He had always been sheltered throughout his entire life. Now, he has a job that provides shelter for him.

Hamilton started to display questionable behaviour after his parents gave him the freedom. In a matter of minutes, Hamilton had over 12 tattoos and began to experiment on drugs with the people who made them. Hamilton began to experiment with drugs and he fell off the wagon. Hamilton was influenced by the drug’s effects, but he also lost the ability to remember the back pains that he had suffered from an accident.

Josh Hamilton started to associate with bad people. Hamilton became paranoid about drugs, and began spending huge amounts of money on drugs to get access. Many times he ended up in darkened trailers, and he even blacked out. However, his love for family and his natural talent as a baseball pitcher kept him going.

Stress Free Golf Swing

In the middle of the night, he finally went to visit his grandmother. She was the one who changed his life. With a calm confidence, she assured him that he’d be back playing baseball one day. He was fed all the food that he needed and had a bed to call his own. Josh quickly gained weight and thought that it was possible to make a comeback in baseball. But he didn’t know who might be willing to offer a drug addict another chance.

Hamilton discovered his solution in a religious baseball team that required him to do janitorial work during the day to be able to practice on the field or in the batting cage in the evenings. Hamilton noticed that his swing was still amazing and that weight training helped him get back to top form in no time.

Josh was able to identify the right people at the right times and was therefore called upon by the Cincinnati Reds’ major league team. He was a big hit and eventually got traded to Texas Rangers. He was able to play in every Rangers game, and was named All-Star Team. He showed that he was able to play the game, but needed some encouragement in order to reach his full potential.

Beyond Belief teaches us that family is the most valuable thing anyone will ever possess. Although it may seem obvious, it’s easy to get lost in the world without the security of knowing that you have family. Josh Hamilton was blessed to have his wife and parents by his side throughout his addiction and rehabilitation. His wife was an amazing woman. And his grandmother gave him strength like no other. The autobiography of Hamilton is a wonderful read, regardless of whether you love baseball. Hamilton’s success story will make you more grateful for family and help you live a healthier life. The book has been rated a 5/5.
