- Wear out PalmThis is the most popular pattern for golf gloves. If the club is held in one’s palm, instead of being properly held towards your fingers, it can cause a worn-out palm. The tendency to cut or push the ball can be caused by gripping the golf club in your palm.
- Thumb Tear A tear in your thumb could indicate poor thumb positioning and/or improper grip pressure. The problem with golf grip is usually a loss of control. However, it can often be corrected quickly by learning a few simple golf lessons.
- Index Finger WearA poor connection between the hands can cause golf glove wear. This happens when players use an overlapping grip that causes the little finger of the dominant hand to dig into the golf glove’s knuckle.
Performance and glove wear are not the only signs that something is wrong. As with all parts of your golf equipment, the glove must fit correctly.
