You don’t have to hit great shots. The key is to minimize the bad shots. You don’t have to be a better player of golf. It might be enough to learn how to swing better.
You can do this by hitting hundreds of golf balls per day. But unless your goal is to be a professional, you won’t have the time. However, you can also swing the club at your own home, which is just as great. You can swing the club 120 more times in 15 minutes if you follow these steps:
20 Normal swings
20 swings only with your left hand
20 Normal swings
Only 20 swings using the right hand
20 Swings, feet touching each other.
20 Normal swings
After every swing, take a step back and start over. You will get more practice in your setup and it prevents you getting stuck on the course. You should aim for calm after each swing. Relax and pay attention to each swing.
Be sure to pick a location on the ground before you start to swing. The club should then swing back from that point on a line in the direction of a target. Simply swinging is not sufficient. Training your swing so it follows the correct path to the ball is key.
This section teaches the arm and hand how to use the swing. It is also an excellent way to strengthen your golfing muscles.
You should swing one-handed when you are doing the swing. Swing the first time using two hands, and then stop halfway through your backswing. To remind you of the intended destination, do this. Don’t use the other hand. Continue the swing. To continue with the single-hand swings that follow, you will need to set up using both your hands and take out the hand you don’t use before starting the swing.
There will be some movement in the lower part of the foot-toe section. But the goal is to reduce that so your focus can be on the upper and arms turning together.
Try to keep all swings within a section of the park the same. Do not experiment with adding or removing something. You will make huge strides towards learning how to replicate a swing by making 20 of the same swings. To build a consistent swing, you must practice it over and over again.
Question: What are the best ways to ensure you have a great swing? This is where the feet together and one-handed sections come in. It’s impossible to do everything right.
This exercise should be done at least twice a week, and preferably a portion of it every day. Your swing will become smoother, more repetitive, lighter and stronger by the end of the exercise. This exercise requires you to swing a lot in a very short amount of time. You may want to increase your efforts to do all 120. You should stop if your back or lower back starts to hurt.
For the club you choose, there are two options. You could use one club to do the entire thing or switch clubs for each section. You can make friends if you are having problems with any one of the clubs.
To keep your interest high, you can hit the ball every tenth swing if you are doing this exercise on the range. However, you should not do it more frequently than this. It is not an exercise in ball-hitting, but a swinging one.
You can also do the exercise indoors with a 7 iron if you are unable to get to the range. Adjust your posture and swing longer clubs if you don’t have the right equipment. Is it possible to swing the club indoors? You don’t have to be worried. Six-foot six, I can hold a 7 iron in an 8-foot room without hitting the ceiling. My wife is fine with me doing it. (I was a good husband.
This 120 Swings exercise is something I practice several times a week. It is easy to tell the difference if I am not diligent. When I return, I simply tick one more time.
