Get on your bike and go for a ride. Both road and mountain biking are great ways to strengthen your core and legs, and increase your cardiovascular fitness. While riding on the road or flat is more common, you can add adrenaline to your workout by riding on a mountainbike on an off-road trail. Enjoy the ride, but don’t rush.

Take a stroll or run along the beach. It will bring you a refreshing change with its different terrain and footing.

Play catch. Whether you’re playing catch in your back yard, at a park, or on a field, go out and play. Playing catch with a softball, football or other ball is a great way to get moving and a light exercise, particularly if it’s something you haven’t done in awhile.

Jump rope- Jumping rope can be fun for all ages. Begin slow and gradually increase your jump rope speed. Frisbee golfing is a completely different activity to what you would normally do. Another fun family activity.
