Is your training getting boring? Do you get tired of going to the gym every day, even when it is hot? You are tired of being stuck in a fitness rut. Are you looking to find new methods and ideas for improving your progress? You can take your exercise outside because it is warmer.
Let’s face the facts. It doesn’t make sense to drive 30 minutes to the gym just to run on the treadmill or lift weights when it is sunny. It’s not only winter that you have been inside, but you also haven’t made any progress with your exercise routine in months.
Relax and enjoy the moment. Let me share some tips that will inspire you to get outside and get back into training. You will also be able to make great progress in your personal life. Interested? You are most welcome to say YES.
Over the past ten years I have been in the gym, and these are two key points. First, you need to be able to accomplish more in each training session. For psychological and physiological reasons, we all require regular variation in our training. The second is what I’m going to discuss today. It can be a great way to get your routine back on track. These outdoor training tips will add some variety to your workouts.
1. You can take your weight training outside for a different look: I enjoy strength training outside during the summer. It’s a joy to take my weights outside in my garden or at the park. A great way to get it done is with your loved ones or friends. You can use kettlebells to train outdoors (shown below — looks like an enormous bowling ball, with a handle), clubbells and medicine balls. They are great for weight lifting, vest work, sandbag exercise, dumbbell training, and other simple tasks.
2. Interval training can increase fat loss. “fat-burning”The myth of the zone is false. It is a myth. Interval training is a great way to include interval training in your summer training. Simply warm up for 5-10 mins and then alternate 30 seconds of intense effort with 30 seconds more relaxed effort. This can be done on your road or mountain bike. You might also do jump roping and sprints on track. Enjoy!
3. You can do mini-workouts during the day. Pick any exercise you like and then take short breaks outdoors. Walk out from your office to do some squats and walking lunges. You should be focusing on your energy consumption at the end. Not doing everything at once.
4. You can do some yardwork: Your yard is messy. Try stacking wood or building a rock wall.
5. Enjoy the scenery. Make the whole world your gym. The commercial health club has no place in Mother Nature. Go for a run, kayaking or mountain biking in your local park. Or, you can go on a beach running in the sand and jumping in the water. Outdoor exercise can help you to improve your fitness and offer a variety of training options.
6. Take up obstacle walking. This will increase your exercise and calorie expenditure. It is monotonous and repetitive to walk on a treadmill. It can make your life more interesting and fun to do an obstacle-walk in the local park. “chaos”Walking outside might be just the thing you’ve been searching for.
7. You can have fun participating in summer sports leagues. You can find hiking clubs and mountain biking clubs as well as road bikes clubs. There are also triathlon training clubs. Softball leagues. Martial arts tournaments. Basketball leagues. Actually, this summer I’m participating in a basketball league. It is an excellent opportunity to go outside with new friends and do a physical activity that will enhance your life.
Here are seven ideas for taking your training outdoors and incorporating variety in your workouts. It is worth considering going outside for your exercise, as well as hitting the gym on a couple of days per week. Mother Nature offers us many great opportunities so go outside and enjoy the outdoors. You’ll see progress and have fun doing it.).
You should train with a purpose.
