To get interviews with big names, become an affiliate

You want to interview an expert in your field.

It is obvious that a meeting with this person would be beneficial for your company.  To build your reputation.

Problem is, their hourly fee is way too high. A one-on-one lesson could be offered by Tiger woods.

How do you convince them to join your team?

One of my strategies to gain interviews with copywriting and marketing leaders such as Ted Nicholas, John Carlton and Alex Mendosian was to inform them that I would like to be an affiliate.

I’m not being facetious. This offer was not something I made blindly. Actually, I used the PR person I had to establish contact.

However, I was able to do it. “sweeten the deal”A little bit for the professionals. These guys would know from a glance at my site that I am able to help promote them. They gave me another reason to interview me by having my affiliate status in their sales system.

I was indeed helped by them. In real life, however, it was helping me if they offered to help my customers if they wanted.

Ted Nicholas’s website was my affiliate. Alex Mendosian, I promoted Tele-Seminar Secrets. John Carlton was also a client of mine, so I highlighted his Copywriting Secrets products.

Each case showed that they understood I was interested in the success of their products. They made money if I was successful.

They helped me.

The best way to land is I think. “big fish”These guys are to be commended: “I want to sell for you; I want to become a salesman.”  Then fill out their affiliate information.

Say, if they do not have an affiliate website “I really like what you’re doing and I’d like to help promote and sell your products and services.”

They wouldn’t say yes to this. They wouldn’t.

Get out and promote someone else’s products.

This interview could be a high-quality opportunity that leads to a job offer you’re able use for your company.
