Curling’s Sport Of Curling: Golf Putting Tips

As I learned a new sport, curling, I discovered a wonderful tip for golf putting.

In many ways, curling is very similar to playing golf.

Both were created in Scotland over 100 years ago.

These are two games with no nastiness. They’re driven by powerful rules of Etiquette that make politeness a cornerstone of the game.

Because of this, I enjoy them both. When I discovered that England had a single purpose-built curling rink it was only a forty minute drive away from my home, I knew I wanted to go.

The small margins that exist between getting the exact result you desire and being disappointed are another common feature of both these games.

My technique for getting 42 lbs granite 40m down the ice has been refined. I learned that strength does not depend on arm swing. It is actually a result of leg pushing.

While you can use your arm for direction, it is not consistent with using your arm to determine strength.

You can use this tip as a golf-putting tip to get many more shots.

Do not try to judge distance with follow-through. This will lead to inconsistency.

You can practice your backswing for distance judging.

You can predict the distance of your putt by backswinging 3 inches and following through 3 inches.

You can do the same thing for a 4-inch backswing, and vice versa. Once you have seen how far your putts are, then you can change to your pre-programmed swing.

This will allow you to adjust the length of the putts, regardless of the pressure shots. You can then focus on your line.

You’ll be able to see the results on your scorecard, even if it does not reduce your 3 putting.

This golf putting tip will help you reap the benefits of curling.
