Learning how to keep your head above the ball is one of the most important lessons in golf.
You will most likely sway when you are trying to control your swing. It will result in your swing arc being distorted and a poor shot.
It’s fascinating to see how both professional and instructional players are changing the definition of basic golf mechanics.
While the golf-swing instruction remains the same, the terminology and nomenclature used to explain different mechanics of the game continue to evolve with every new generation.
Now, they call it the most important discipline. “staying on top of the ball” “Staying on top of the ball”If you want to play straight, it is necessary.
This term is used to refer to how stable the top of your spine should be during the back swing.
The best way to explain this need to keep a straight swing is to make eye contact from the start of your swing to the end.
You should keep your eyes on the ball and not move away.
One way to explain the swing is by saying that you must keep the ball in front of your head.
No matter what your swing thought may be “staying on top of the ball,”You must maintain a level head and eye contact while you golf swing.
As there was some confusion over the idea of “staying on top of the ball”The frustration felt during the game of golf was equal.
While it is important to keep your head steady during your back swing, your head should still move during the down swing in order to balance the hip rotation. It must.
It doesn’t mean the head must be kept steady during the swing.
One example is to swivel your neck in Jack Nicklaus’s manner, but still keep your spine straight during a golf swing.
It doesn’t matter how you move it, so long as your spine is in the exact same spot during back swing and at the conclusion of your setup routine.
What can you do then to ensure that your spine is stable during swing? “stay on top of your ball?”
First, ensure your left foot is planted through your entire golf-swing.
You can improve your golf swing by keeping your left leg planted while you are playing.
Second, make sure you keep eye contact with your ball at all times.
The top of your spine will stay stable if you keep your eyes on the ball, as stated previously.
Third, don’t raise, lower, or move your head in any way during your backswing. The top of your spine is stable if you don’t allow your head to move in your backswing.
You can do all three of these things right if you follow the steps correctly “stay on the top of your ball.”Combining these three lessons may be the most valuable lesson in golf.
