Orlando is constantly changing and dynamic. You will find attractions, restaurants, rides and many other activities all year round, with sometimes little or no notice. Although this guide was correct at publication, it may have been updated throughout the year. We are available to answer any questions you may have about the information contained in this guide.
The Walt Disney World® Resort
Millions of tourists visit it every year. It’s one of the top tourist spots in the world. The Walt Disney World Resort is a huge entertainment and vacation destination that once was a swampy area of Florida. It has four major theme parks and two water parks. There are 23 hotels. Seven golf courses, five championship and two miniature. Ten marinas. More than 140 restaurants.
WDW’s vast array of attractions can make it easy for you to feel overwhelmed. Let’s go through the resort, one at a. so we can help you plan your vacation.
The Magic Kingdom®
The gates open and you see it, just like the opening of your fairy tale. A beautiful castle located at the end a charming village street. You are now on Main Street USA. This is the start of your Magic Kingdom experience (MK).
Main Street USA is the beginning of everything. This bustling street has many shops and restaurants that will take you to five other worlds. You will find charming shops selling all your Disney products, as well as specialty items such hand-blown glass ornaments, which you can even watch being made by working artisans. You can also find Guest Services on Main Street. They will help you make reservations and provide information about special events and attractions, as well as details on maintenance and times. You can also rent a stroller or wheelchair here.
Main Street USA can be viewed as the main gateway to America, but it is not the only place Main Street USA belongs. “real”There are many attractions here. Below are the Top 5 Main Street Picks:
A haircut is a great option! For less than $20 you can claim that you had your hair cut at an old-fashioned barbershop. Some even allow you to add some “magical” touches, like highlights.
Postcards are a great way to send love! Send a postcard from home to those back home by dropping in at City Hall. For an affordable souvenir, mail the card to yourself and it will be stamped with The Magic Kingdom.
Get your ears ready! Le Chapeau Shop is the ideal place for those legendary ears. You can now customize and make your own hat so that everyone has their very own set.
Enjoy the thrill of riding on rails It’s a wonderful way to unwind. You can also take the Walt Disney World Railroad around the park, or to Frontierland. You can even time the sunset to make it a wonderful way to close your day.
Parades can also be held on Main Street USA. For information on parade types and times, check with the guest services. They can be changed throughout the year as well as for special events. The best viewing locations are often taken in advance so make sure you stake your claim as soon as possible and take the opportunity to enjoy some relaxation.
Five additional worlds are available beyond Main Street USA: Adventureland and Fantasyland as well as Frontierland. Liberty Square is also available. Tomorrowland. Every world is unique and has its own restaurants, shops, attractions. Let’s go through them all so we can help you plan.
Adventureland: Jungle adventures and pirates are the norm! Adventurers of all ages and adventurers alike come to this location for the exotic entertainment. This includes street performers, the pirate training camp and even the chance to meet the cast members. “class”It will. These are the things you should not miss
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Enchanted Tiki Room
Jungle Cruise
Magic Carpets of Aladdin
Frontierland is the Old West Land where you’ll want to get your FASTPASS Tickets. Send one person over immediately after you arrive, and you can make your reservations for Splash Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Peco Bill’s is a good place to go for a reasonably priced (for a park) meal. Next, get ready for these must-dos.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Splash Mountain
Jamboree of Country Bears
Liberty Square: Although it is the smallest of the lands, this one is the most beloved. Only three attractions are available, but each one is worth a visit.
Haunted Mansion
The Hall of Presidents
Liberty Square Riverboat
Fantasyland: The site is currently undergoing massive expansions that will increase its size by nearly two-thirds. There are still plenty of Fantasyland areas available for enjoyment, and many more will be added throughout the year. You won’t be shocked by the scaffolding and walls you might see up until that time.
While families with young children may find it easy to spend a lot of their time in this land, older people will still enjoy the area. This land represents the essence of Magic Kingdom for many. Here are some reasons.
Mad Tea Party
Winnie the Pooh’s Many Adventures
It’s a small world
Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
The Little Mermaid’s Journey Under the Sea
Ariel’s Grotto

EPCOT®
It was Walt’s ideal city but became the EPCOT theme park instead. This is the place to go if your vacation includes rides, technology and street performers.
MK may be a heaven for young children but EPCOT can accommodate adults as well as older kids. It is especially suitable for teens and those with tech skills. You can also find some delicious food at this park. If you plan to visit during peak season, call 1-407 WDW-DINE.
EPCOT can be divided into the Future World and World Showcase areas.
Future World: The place to find most interactive exhibits and rides. You can see all of the attractions in one visit because everything is well organized. If you’re looking for the most important things, here’s a list.
Spaceship Earth

Living in harmony with the land
World Showcase: The place to go for shows, entertainments, food and even a ride. World Showcase allows you to visit some of the most iconic destinations around the globe without needing a passport.
Every country (or pavilion) features goods and food from its own country. The experience is complete with shows and movies. Mexico, Canada and Norway are the permanent World Showcase Pavillions. Mexico and Norway each offer boat rides. Gran Fiesta Tour features The Three Cabelleros, and Maelstrom.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The magic of the movies is back, Mouse-style. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is WDW’s tribute. “the Hollywood that never was, and always will be.”It is home to tv legends and movie favorites, as well as three of the most thrilling thrill rides in the world. DHS also houses most Disney characters including Monsters Inc. and the classic Muppets.
DHS is well-organized and compact. This makes it possible to visit all of the parks in one day. Do not hesitate to visit as many of DHS’s shows as you can, if time is not a problem. Fantasmic will be open until late! The show is considered one of the top nighttime events and the only event in the park that has the disney villains. Book Fantasmic tickets to reserve your seats in advance, regardless of the season. Package at either The Hollywood Brown Derby, Mama Mellrose’s Ristorante Italiano, or Hollywood & Vine.
This is your definitive list for DHS.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park
Although Animal Kingdom (AK), is the youngest park in WDW, its popularity ranks right up with those of its siblings. This “Natazu”Say it aloud and it will come true. It has live animals, amazing food, and incredible architectural touches even for Disney standards.
AK is broken into lands (like MK). Others are inspired by world regions and have thematic elements and native animals. Some others can be more creative. This is a list of all the places you can find it.
Oasis: Too many people rush through the entry point to this oasis. Don’t do it! Enjoy the miniature deer and sloths along with macaws, macaws, iguanas.
Discovery Island is home to the Tree of Life. The tree is tall at 14 stories and wide at 50 feet. It has an intricate carving. “bark”This tapestry features 325 animals likenesses. There are also wildlife trails that surround the tree, including areas where you can view flamingos or red kangaroos. A theatre is located inside the tree where visitors can enjoy It’s tough to be a bug, an interactive film show that features creepy crawlies. This park favourite is also available!
Camp Minnie Mouse: Take your little one to this place for some small-sized fun, and to meet most of AK’s characters. The Festival of the Lion King is also located here, the inspiration for the Broadway musical.
Africa: Harambe is where you will find the path to Kilimanjaro Safari. It also offers a scenic ride through African wildlife territory. After you have climbed out of your safari vehicle you will be able to exit the Paganini Forest Exploration Trail and take a closer look at lowland Gorillas. This includes a 500-lb male silverback with his family. These trails are one of few spots in the world that you can see these incredible primates. Take your time. As a reward, bring the children to Rafiki’s Planet Watch. They will love Rafiki’s Affection Section.
Asia: What does the kingdom of Anandapur mean? “place of delight.”It was amazing to see the Imagineers create the illusion of an archeological marvel. Keep an open mind for fine details. That might prove difficult since you and your entire party will race to Expedition Everest Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. It’s Disney’s new thrill ride. This coaster will be worth every minute of your visit. You can also visit Kali River Rapids on a hot day. There, the bubbling waters will guarantee an enjoyable time. Maharajah Jungle Trek allows for more close-up viewing, with the possibility of seeing Bengal Tigers.
Dinoland U.S.A. is a great attraction for kids. While the Boneyard allows children to climb, dig and slide, parents can relax and enjoy watching. Next, take your whole family along to Dinosaur. This is a fast-paced, fun race against the clock. Next, take a seat at Finding Nemo: The Musical. The spectacular, visually stunning reimaginings of this popular movie are THE must-see attraction at Walt Disney World Resort.
These are our tips for WDW parks
FASTPASS: This is similar to making reservations for your favorite attraction at Walt Disney World. The machine will automatically print out your pass with details about the return time. It is impossible to choose your ride time. You only can have one active FastPass at any given time. However, this can be a great way to save time on busy days and avoid long lines.
TIP FOR FASTPASS: Do not worry if your time is missed. You can use your FASTPASS at any other time than the one you booked.
Don’t ride when other guests are too busy. Parades, dinners, fireworks and meals often distract people from main attractions. If everyone is busy, you might experience shorter wait times.
Do not repurchase-refill WDW offers water fountains in the parks. Refill your water bottles throughout the day (if allowed by WDW).
Snacks can be a time-saver: Snack stands provide quick and light meals that are portable. Remember, if you eat a large meal, it will slow down your metabolism, particularly in hot temperatures.
WDW Waterparks
Blizzard Beach
The 66-acre Mount Gushmore ski resort is now open! Blizzard Beach is home to a beach of white sand and a tropical lagoon. Although it is one of the newest Disney parks, it is also the most visited. In fact, it is the nation’s most-popular water park. You can find great rides that cater to all ages: speed and thrills, or lazy and relaxing. These are just a few of the highlights.
Cross Country Creek
Melt Away Bay
Tike’s Peak
Teamboat Springs
Summit Plummet
Typhoon Lagoon
Typhoon Lagoon in WDW is the second water park. It’s smaller and more laid back than Blizzard, but it offers slightly less thrills and theme fun. While the parks are older, crowds can be smaller at Typhoon Lagoon. But, during peak season, expect to wait long and fill up the pools. Typhoon Lagoon’s waters are kept at a warm – but still refreshing – 75-80º F all year round, making this a water park of choice even in Orlando’s short winter.
Typhoon Lagoon is about Miss Tilly. Her shrimp boat got stuck on Mount Mayday. “the storm of storms.”Miss Tilly blows her whistle every half an hour as Mount Mayday attempts to dislodge her ship with a water geyser that goes through her, and into the air.
Typhoon Lagoon’s best-known attraction is undoubtedly the Shark Reef. You can swim with sharks, including bonnetheads and leopards. There are also stingrays. Visitors who aren’t quite ready to swim with the sharks can still view them from the portholes of a boat. You can see the fish through the portholes. “sunken tanker.”
Nine waterslides are also available, offering everything from pure relaxation to thrills. We’ve got the scoop on the top ten:
Castaway Creek
Grind ‘n Gusher
Gang Plank Falls
Humunga Kowabunga
Surf Pool
Shop, Sports and Other
Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex
The Disney tribute to sports is this. This megacomplex is 220-acres in size and features a baseball park, ten softball fields and six basketball courts. There are also 12 tennis courts that can be fully lighted, six volleyball courts (sand), and a driving range. It even has two indoor roller skating rinks. Josten Center, a multisport facility, offers six more basketball courts and 12 volleyball courts as well as two additional roller hockey rinks.
It is a popular spot for sports fans to see big-name athletes. Atlanta Braves are here for Spring Training each March. Harlem Globetrotters, the NBA and PGA all have events or games at this location. In July and August, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers use the Sports Complex to train.
For more information and tickets information call 407-WDW – GAME
DisneyQuest
It’s the ideal indoor attraction for those who are tech-savvy, or even for the whole family to enjoy on rainy days. Five levels offer a variety of exciting games where virtual reality meets adventure. There is something for all ages, including teens. Virtual versions of most popular MK rides are available, such as Pirates of the Caribbean Battle for Buccaneer Gold and CyberSpace Mountain.
CyberSpace Mountain is my favorite. Bill Nye, the Science Guy, helps to create your coaster before you can ride it. Artistically-inclined guests should check out Animation Station for a crash-course in Disney-style animation. For the best entertainment and the shortest wait times, get there at opening. Evenings can be very crowded.
Golf Disney
WDW has a total of 99 holes, with six different courses. Two mini-golf courses are available, which compete with other similar facilities throughout Orlando. Oak Trail, while big players might be interested in big outings (tee times are available 60-90 days ahead of time), Oak Trail offers nine holes and is the most convenient place. You can enjoy this peaceful walking course for both beginners and experts. You will face some challenges at holes 6, 7, and 5. There are also mini-golf courses available:
Magnolia
Palm
Osprey Ridge
Lake Buena Vista
Fantasia Gardens (mini)
Fantasia Fairways (mini).
Winter Summerland: Two mini-courses, Winter and Summer
Remember to wear spikeless shoes for golf! Converse sneakers or other athletic footwear are allowed.
Downtown Disney
You’ll love this area if you want shopping, dining, or a state-of the-art multiplex to make your vacation a memorable one. The complex is split into 3 areas, West Side and Pleasure Island. Hyperion Wharf will soon be The Marketplace.
West Side has DisneyQuest and amazing dining experiences, such as Bongos Cuban Café, the House of Blues, Wolfgang Puck’s, and Planet Hollywood. AMC’s 24-screen movie theatre features all of your first-run entertainment in beautiful art deco settings. Cirque du Solei La Nouba is a Disney-exclusive performance by this avant-garde group. You should get tickets in advance if you wish to catch the show. It is a hugely popular event. Splitsville is a new two-floor entertainment and bowling complex with 30 lanes. It also features live music and delicious food.
Pleasure Island used to be Downtown Disney’s over-18 area. It was home to clubs and restaurants that cater to an all-adult audience. This was overturned in 2008. The area is now partially unexploited. However, things are improving! In late 2010, Disney revealed plans to turn Pleasure Island into Hyperion Wharf, a new shopping and dining destination. Construction is expected to take three years; some shops and restaurants will remain open during the long renovation, including Raglan Road Irish Pub & Bar, Fuego by Sosa Cigars, Paradiso 37, and Orlando Harley-Davidson.
Disney Marketplace offers great dining options, including Fulton’s Crab House which features delicious seafood served on a gorgeous riverboat. The Captain Jack’s restaurant (not connected to Johnny Depp) offers oysters and cold beers in a relaxed waterfront location. They also have a wonderful children’s menu. Kids will also love the Rainforest Café, where there are often live animals (mostly parrots) on display outside. Marketplace also houses the World of Disney. A trip to Disney World is incomplete without visiting this place. Parents who are trying to keep costs down might need to get their kids to the front.
Getting Around The Mouse: Transportation at the Walt Disney World® Resort
Monorail: Since 1971, the Walt Disney Monorail has been running. It was originally designed to run around the Seven Seas Lagoon. In 1982, it was expanded to include monorail transport to EPCOT. You are staying at one of the Magic Kingdom Hotels
The Contemporary, The Polynesian or The Grand Floridian are the three monorails that run right through your hotel. The monorail is available at the Transportation and Ticket Center (also known as the TTC), Magic Kingdom, EPCOT or EPCOT.
TTC serves as the main point of contact for Disney transport. The TTC houses monorails as well as ferry boats and water taxis. There is also a large parking area for buses, cars and taxis.
Buses: All Disney hotel, main and water parks are served by buses that run from Downtown Disney to the Wide World of Sports. Although there are many buses to each destination, the route is not always the best. Also, buses are often very packed during peak hours, including closing and opening times. The bus may not work for you if your goal is to rush.
Parking: Although the Disney bus, monorails, ferryboats, water taxis and boats are free, you can pay $14 per day for your car and motorbike, or $15 for campers, trailers, or campers. No matter how many times you drive your car, the parking permit is valid for the whole day. Annual Pass Holders and Disney Resort Hotel Guests do not need to pay parking charges anywhere on the Walt Disney property. You are always welcome to use it.
All ages are welcome to enjoy the fun
WDW draws guests from all walks of life, including families with young kids and retirees. Although everyone may have their favorite spots, these are the ones we recommend for you.
