Drytex is a fabric made from a Nylon core with Polyester Lycra fabric. This material retains all the advantages and durability of Neoprene while being breathable and allergy-friendly.
Drytex braces can be more comfortable than Neoprene and have a lower odor.
What is the best way to tell the difference?
Just lift the material to the light, and then stretch it. It is considered breathable if light can be seen through it. Neoprene is most likely to be visible if it does not reflect light.
Drytex, which is an alternate to Neoprene, can be used if you’re in a warmer climate and are involved in activities such as basketball, soccer, tennis and golf. Drytex, which is hypoallergenic to Neoprene or Latex, can provide support.
Only a few manufacturers, such as DonJoy, can use this material. This material is rarely found in stores.
