If you are given permission to exercise, start slowly. You have the chance to try a different sport. Tai Chi, Yoga and Tai Chi are low-impact activities that improve fitness without putting too much strain on your joints.
You can join a gym, join a YMCA and find a group that you enjoy being active. You can make new friends by joining a fitness class. Surprised to learn that you have a neighbor who shares your passion for hiking, cycling, or ballroom dancing?
You don’t have to exercise only at the gym. You can also shop, clean, or play golf. Every activity that involves muscles improves strength and overall health.
