Avoid 100% cotton golf shirts as they can become damp due to rain or perspiration and restrict your swing.
Adidas and Izod Heat screen the size labels of their golf shirts into the neck to provide more comfort. Everybody has worn a golf shirt whose size label has made them feel uncomfortable. It doesn’t make it better, but it can be cut off. Tape it down. It works until the tape comes off. Then it’s back to square one. You will not have to worry about this issue with the new tag-less label.
New materials are being used by manufacturers to keep them in shape for many washes. They won’t be as damaged by the UV rays of the sun as 100% cotton. These shirts will fade in the collar and shoulder area from being exposed to the sunlight. The darker colors are especially vulnerable.
