There is so much noise around golf tips, help and aids. But I have no idea how to make it work.
The game of golf is something I absolutely love! When I was young, I used to lug bags around Chicago. Later on, I worked as an instructor at a driving range and also taught in college. So I was there behind the scenes. “golf”That “other side”I’m sorry, but there aren’t many. “glam”On the other.
I digress. I digress. “do”They or you “practiced”You bet that your scores prove this to not true.
All golfers know that a poor mental understanding is a must if they want to play well. There will be some who disagree and others who will agree. “ahhhh … whatever … I’m mentally tough!”
That’s not the point! It’s not mental toughness that I am referring to. This is not something I can even come close to. I am trying to convey that not all of us are pros or scratch shooters. “know”Mental is the most important thing, followed by physical in order to play golf.
I understand fully that lessons are the foundation of all learning. We must have a foundation. We just add cement to the foundation once we have it. Then, the house is never built in golf.
You’re now asking yourself, “what do you mean?”
This means that you need to have the foundation and have played enough time. If you do not have a foundation, it will be difficult to find true low scores.
This is a bold statement, I admit, but it’s true that if you have been playing golf for a long time, then you know that big drives and $300 putters are essential. Quick tips are often the best and most comfortable way to learn, which is what we all like. These tips are often short-lived (which is what they are), but it’s still a great way to practice the skills.
We need mental conditioning to play golf. Put aside all the golf glasses that you have been using for years and get the new old-timers spectacles. This is the glasses worn by people who are able to shoot low rounds with minimal effort. The low-round shooters realized early on that you can shoot lower rounds if your perspective is controlled, you have to see your game clearly, and you must practice with a PURPOSE. It’s the only way, I have seen it time after time.
