What is the difference between a Stack and Tilt golf swing and a conventional one?

The Stack and Tilt Golf Method is able to do all that a great instructor cannot do for your swing. You may find this method to be more natural. It allows your body to naturally pivot in the right way and you can use it to your advantage.

How does the Stack and Tilt swing differ from the traditional golf swing? First, the way you stand will differ. You will notice a slight curve in your spine and inclination of your head. This is in contrast to the normal position with your back straightening and your head upward. It may feel more natural for you to do this right away.

Your weight distribution may be modified. The Stack and Tilt technique will have your weight moving in the opposite direction to how it is with the classic swing. Classic swings have your weight moving backwards and forwards. Although it will require some practice, you will soon be able to master the swing.

During the Stack and Tilt swing you should keep your hips forward and your head straight. Your spine should be fully extended. This is in contrast to the classical swing which has your hips back and your upper body short.

Ever notice the fact that there are many fundamentals to golf swing play? Lee Travino had a different golf swing than Arnold Palmer. Jack Nicklaus’s swing was also different than Pau Azinger’s. That should tell you something. Every one had a unique stance, and each grip. The way they followed through was different too. They aimed for the left and others towards the right, while some went straight down the middle.

The Stack and Tilt swing method does not generate maximum power but can generate enough. You get a great balance between power and control. It is impossible to have power and not control. Control without distance is useless. You can’t balance them both and be successful in the game.
