Here’s how I lost 40 pounds in six weeks!

That was the best day of my entire life. As I ran down the runway to get my Air Force plane, it was the most joyful day of my life. It was the first time I felt happy and fulfilled in my entire life.

The Air Force initially refused me because I was too overweight.

It was possible! I was happy with the results. I dropped from 165 to just 125 pounds. It was possible! I felt fantastic! All sizes of 10 and 11 were available to me.

In six weeks, I have lost 40 pounds eating only protein and lots of water.

Drinking a lot of water was a habit I had, as well as multivitamins. While I searched for a job, I played golf, swam, and did some drawing. In the mornings, I ran 50 miles in one place and did 15 sit ups. The only consolation of not having to eat was the lack of food bills. McDonald’s was right next to me. I was enthralled by the smell of Big Macs.

It was a feeling of self-worth that I felt much more positive about and could see the results. My clothes started to get baggy. Because I love meat, eggs and cheese as well as fish, the high-protein diet was for me.

Breakfast was made with two eggs scrambled (no butter) and tea. I used shrimp and tuna. Another meal was chicken, cheese and a hard-boiled egg. I loved a piece of cheese between two thin, broiled hamburger patties. It was delicious with cottage cheese. Three meals could be made from a take-home box of chicken. The skin I removed. Additionally, I was able to drink 8-10 glasses per day of water.

I then had to wait for six months before being activated. That summer was great. I enjoyed biking, swimming, and golfing. Fresh fruits and vegetables were my favorite foods. I also watched how I ate them. It was filling me with energy. I gained weight.

Additionally, during basic training I gained even more weight. It was all that running, marching, and eating military food. My weight was 115 lbs!

What was the key? I just wanted to make this diet work. The protein diet is not something I recommend to anybody. It was my. It’s up to you to make it yours.

At 5’4 inches high, I used to be shy and naive.

I made a change in my life. Since then, I’ve been interested in nutrition and fitness and I now help other people do the same.
