For a long time, I’ve been called the Golf Anti-practice Expert. But what does this really mean? In a nutshell, it means I believe you can improve your game even if you don’t go to practice. This is it. Most of the game-improvement ideas that they need to implement are in their heads. It’s funny how they are aware of this, but they continue to fight the brainwashing they have been subjected to over time.
You can learn without having to practice. You can do this by putting your clubs in the car and driving to the range. After that, you will get a bucket for some balls.
Can indoor golf putting improve your ability to hit the fairway? Yes! You’ll do it because it’s easy (in your living room). We all know people who say “It’s so convenient!” “well, just as soon as that project at work is over, then I’ll get down to the range and work on my game.”
The projects don’t end, do they? The next one is right around the corner, and you start to lose track of your promises.
You don’t need to do it this way.
Indoor golfing isn’t quite as enjoyable as playing on the real thing, but I will admit that. What are the benefits of having your own carpet? It’s a lot. These are three key tips to help you get big results in a lower score. These tips can be done right at home.
1. To start, you can add some pressure to your indoor putting. You can play a friendly game and make a couple of bucks. It will teach you how to deal with pressure. It doesn’t matter if you are playing on grass or carpet.
2. You can putt to have fun, but not for practice. Focus on your core and keeping your body still. While watching TV, you can do it. You should pay attention to the sensation when your shoulders are not moving but you’re still. It doesn’t matter which method you choose, this is important. This is why you want to put with minimal effort.
3. Use a tool that draws a straight line around a golf club. Focus on hitting the ball with your sole focus and making sure the ball rolls smoothly. It’s a huge feat, people! You can also do it on the putting green if you are able to do it on your floor. When you try it out for real, it’s easy to see the ball go where you intend it. Many are completely unaware that the sidepin is placed while they are putting.
Do you see the point? You can use this idea anywhere you are able to work on your golf game, even if it’s just for a few moments. You can think outside the box about how to improve your golf. Most of us have so much going on in our lives that it’s hard to get down to the range.
You can reduce your scores.
