The simplest definition of interval training is “short bursts of high intensity work mixed with periods of low intensity work”. For example, once you have completed the dumbbell press set, it is time to jump jacks for 60-90 seconds or run on a treadmill for 60-90 seconds.

It’s not enough to lift weights or do jumping jacks. You will have to modify your eating habits, sorry. You don’t have to live like a rabbit.
