Training for the Nervous System

Exercise is usually referred to as resistance training, stretching, or cardiovascular exercise. You can find hundreds of different exercises, training methods and programs within each one. You can lift weights, run, do yoga, or isometrics. Balance training and other activities are also included. Most of these methods were developed through years of experimentation, sometimes involving thousands of people (such as yoga or tai-chi). Many of these programs, such as yoga or tai-chi, have a large following due to their effectiveness and the philosophy behind them.

But, there aren’t many effective programs out these days that have been developed by fitness experts, such as physiotherapists or exercise physiologists. This type of expert has intimate knowledge about the anatomy and functions of your body. The majority of personal trainers working in the United States are not as informed as they may seem. How do you make a program when an expert in fitness (Marv Marnovich) meets a physician (Edythe H. Heus?)? You get ProBodX!!!

ProBodX means Proper Body Exercise. Marinovich & Heus created a program that is based on their combined knowledge about how the mind & body interact to form a whole. The exercises are designed to improve the nerve system’s ability to control muscle strength, balance, coordination, speed and agility. Marinovich, Heus did not focus on every body part as many exercise programs do. Instead they looked at each individual body component and found a way of developing it all simultaneously.

Their knowledge about how muscles function, as well as the need for movement to be coordinated with the nervous system, led them to combine resistance training, stretching and balancing work. Their book ProBodX, published by Copyright 2003 and the respective websites are their only guide. These four factors are highly involved in the nervous system. These are:

1. Instability

2. Multiplanes

3. Inverse

4. Resistance

Instability is a state in which the body constantly seeks balance. Instabilities can cause the nervous system to be more difficult to keep the body in balance. The nervous system is able to perform the muscle work faster.

Multiple planes – In real life, the body can move in many different planes. They are often called sagittal and frontal. You can see sagittal as the movement of your body from front to back (the trunk, legs or arms) The frontal movement refers to movements from one side to the other, while transverse moves are any rotation or twisting. When working out or watching others at the gym, you will see that many people work in the Sagittal plane. It is rare to see transverse exercises or frontal movements in any customized program. ProBodX converts all this information into an actual program that includes real life/multiple plane movements.

Inverse movement – What this basically means is that the quicker you move from your overhead arm to your waist, the more energy and strength you have.

Resistance – This is, of course, what we all know to mean: weight. ProBodX is a weight-reduction program. “hollow”With handles, weights. These weights can range between 5 to 35 pounds. Their book explains why the weights are so small.

Together, they strengthen both the nervous and musculoskeletal systems more quickly than conventional programs. ProBodX requires less space and less equipment. It also increases strength, power, coordination, flexibility and agility.

ProBodX is the best program to help you make rapid progress, without injury or protecting your bones. It also enhances energy.
