Golf Swing Thoughts – Simplify your Swing

Okay, you are a golfer, you play a lot of golf, you have all the latest magazines and your library, but still you don’t feel consistent with your golf game.

How can you solve it?

It is overwhelming to receive too much information. There are 15 thoughts in your head and you can’t keep up with them all.

We have to face the facts. There are many ways you can swing a golf ball. Watch the tournament to see which pros do not swing the clubs the same way as you.

What’s the meaning of the golf swing? You hit a ball of white with a golf club. Is it really necessary to read page upon page, hour upon hour of detailed instruction? The answer is …..no

Yes, I admit it. Golf is the most difficult sport after playing for many years. It is possible to have two completely different swings. Good shots are usually followed closely by “Wow, what did I do there?”Over the past few years, my goal has been to improve and perfect my swing. Although I am proud of my swing, I shoot consistently in the 90s and 80s. Sometimes, I even get close to 100. I am constantly thinking about my posture, grip, swing plane, weight shift and ARGH.

When I was playing golf, there were a few things that I knew.

My head should be level with the ground.

My weight should transfer to my right side (I’m right handed). But, bend the leg so that the tension builds and goes into the ground.

Establish solid contact. That’s it.

Even years later, I am able to go back to the old swing. Although it is not perfect, this technique produces solid golf balls and scores that are acceptable without any stress.

Why am I asking am i going to stop all the work that has been done over the past five years and get back in the swing of things? No. But ……..I will change my thoughts. People who have spent a lot of time on the golf course know how to swing it. Nobody knows you better than your swing.

Take a few things into consideration when you swing the club. You don’t have to think about the golf swing to use these thoughts. They can just be about keeping your mind focused on what is important making good contact with it.

Do not overfill your head with garbage. Your body has swung this club many times. It knows how to move so ….AND ….if things get bad, you can just let go. Golf is fun and a sport.
