Officially, the Best Golf Swing is Dead

Many golfers go to extreme lengths to improve their ability to hit the ball. A lot of Golfers are prone to believe anyone or everyone who promises a Theory for a better swing. Although you may know in your heart that this is impossible to believe, it’s not the case. Your passion for golf outweighs any better judgement.

Why would anyone want to learn how to play a Stack and Tilt-style golf swing? If you don’t know, this is another invention golf swing created by two snake oil salesmen to exploit desperate Golfers. It somehow evolved into the most recent. “hot”You can do it in 5 minutes.

But, it was thankfully now officially put in the dumpster along with other passing golf trends. This swing phenomenon was supposedly being used today by a lot of PGA Tour Players. It’s likely that the same number are also using Natural Golf, a once popular trend in golf.

It seems that the Stacking and Tilt topic is not being discussed in golf online chats anymore, as opposed to 5 months ago. The gurus in golf chat rooms were able to make desperate golfers go insane over the idea of trying this new swing.

“I heard that Tiger is going to start using the Stack and Tilt!””My cousin is friend with a man whose wife lives near Mickelson’s accountant. She says Mickelson also is trying to do it!” “I usually score around 95 and I shot a 62 my very first round using it!”

GMS, a month ago, announced that the new swing would be called the Stack and Shank. It is still being referred too by those same gurus, who had declared it the greatest invention since interchangeable shafts. Poor Golfers who got caught up in another swing trend – they wasted 18 months learning how to shank their golf balls and losing distance.

However, it appears that some golfers are still starting to play the Stack or Shank – sort of like the kid who arrived at his friend’s birthday party at 4:45 pm but it actually started at 1:00pm – so it is possible that they might not be the only ones trying it. “Hey guys, where are you going? Why are you leaving the party already?”Jimmy said, “Jimmy! We ate the cake and we opened all the gifts – it’s over.” The birthday cake was left over, but the taste wasn’t great. There were too many frostings and sprinkles. “Oh, I’m hungry – I’ll eat anything!”

It is amazing that some people are smart enough to build businesses and be key people in their own business. However, they must deal with the snake oil salesman every day as part their work.

At the beginning of my golf career, I had the opportunity to be trained by a highly skilled Golf Professional. “Marky, the golf swing is like a box of Kellogg Corn Flakes.”That’s when I said, “Probably like you right now”

He continued – “The golf swing is like a box of Kellogg Corn Flakes. What’s inside the box never changes – the only thing that changes is the packaging.”

What he was referring to was that the golf shot is the golf swing. Just like corn flakes, the components of a golf swing are the same. No new golf swings will improve your ability to play. But, packaging, which is in golf terms, how the golf swing is described to the player so that they are able to improve, will always be a plus.

Packaging refers to (but does not limit): Being able to help golfers with improved concepts like better drills and more accurate techniques that will improve your ability to play the game. The development of training methods that allow Golfers to better understand their swing without needing to consider too many details on each swing. Also, how to quickly fix any problems after they make a mistake. Then, training golfers how to use a PLAN to help them improve their game.

The actual corn flake is the same as it has always been. There won’t be any new swing invented to help golfers improve their shot. But, golf instructors can increase their communication and understanding of the swing to help them teach it in an easier way. There are many different levels of skill among instructors, but there is no shortage of golf swings.

There are many ways to swing the golf ball using different parts of the body. Many Golf Instructors can teach all of those moves. Unfortunately, many golfers mistakenly believe that just because an instructor talks about these movements it means that they are a competent Instructor. An Instructor who needs to explain all of those moves is not a good Instructor and probably won’t help many golfers improve. But they may still be admired because they sound like they are experts.

For many years, less-informed Golf Instructors taught their students how to move your weight. There are three basic things all Golfers learn and then fail to perform on each swing.

A skilled Golf Instructor, on the other hand can help you do all three without having to worry about how you are doing them every time you play. All of this is possible because we help you do everything without having to think about it. Our talented golf instructors will help you create drills to make it easy for you to do all of these things without thinking.

The first step towards a consistently good golf swing is to create positive habits without having to think about them. You’ll be able to swing more smoothly and hit the ball harder when this is possible.

A Golf Instructor who feels the need for you to learn everything about golf swing is similar to a sports star being interviewed by TV. He uses fancy words and big phrases to conceal the fact that he only graduated from high school because he was an athlete. He’ll resort to fancy words in order to appear more intelligent and/or talented, even though he may not use them correctly many times.

“You have to make sure that you use a one piece takeaway so that your swing path starts slightly to the inside while making sure you maintain the proper posture. As you’re doing this, your club will be starting on plane as your shoulders turn 90 degrees to the target, hips 45 degrees and that you have 55% of your weight on your right foot and 45% of your weight on your left foot. Then you must ….”

“Oh that man sounds like he really knows his stuff. He needs to teach me!”

The skill of a fabulous Instructor is to take all those movements and find a way to wrap them up for the Golfer into one movement. For example: If you ever see a Golfer that’s struggling with their game – do they have more or less swing thoughts than someone that’s playing well? Of course – they have way too many swing thoughts. “It’s terrible! Every swing, I am thinking of so much.”

And then this Golfer will go take a golf lesson to improve their golf swing and lo and behold, what might that Golf Instructor do? If it’s like most golf lessons – the Golf Instructor gives this already confused Golfer even more to think about. Why? Because many Instructors want to prove to you how much they know about the golf swing. And they’re going to prove it to you that they know a lot – if you like it or not.

And more times than not – that Golfer walks away more confused, playing worse and swearing to never take another golf lesson again. Which is unfortunate because there are some really excellent Golf Instructors available.

On the other hand – when you speak to a Golfer that’s hitting the golf ball great and ask them what they were thinking about on that last shot, it often is: “It’s not my intention to be a professional golfer, but I do know that I didn’t have the right information.

It’s not surprising that most golf lessons are so difficult. The typical golf instructor will talk about tiny movements, and then tell you to follow the instructions. You’ll struggle out on the course. The skilled Instructor can take these movements and make you do them without even thinking about it.

An intelligent and skilled Golf Instructor is not concerned about how they are perceived. All we care about, however, is the improvement of our golfers.

Because all other Monkeys want it, the Monkey grabs the latest and greatest vine.

Because the player knows that their game is similar to Corn Flakes’, the instructor can help them package the right equipment for their particular golf game.
