The Power of Passion

There once was a man, Jack, who worked very hard in his job. Jack had studied in his area of expertise and was able to get a job within the same industry. His wife was a great choice and they have three wonderful kids. Although he enjoyed his adult life, he felt that he was living on the edge of death. Every morning he got up and went to work at a job he enjoyed, but he long for a vacation, or a short-term break. Due to his work schedule, he had to give up most of his hobbies and try to spend more time with his family. Jack had many dreams in his youth, including travel and starting his business. He also dreamed of becoming an armature player. They were there in his thoughts, but not fully. Jack was successful by American standards in terms of income, work, home and family. He was not able to get out of bed every morning. His steps were not quick and his stress levels were high. He was generally happy but not joyful.

The story is one of two things: a man living a rich life and a man lacking passion.

Is passion what you mean?

Webster defines passion as “a strong liking or desire for or devotion to some activity, object, or concept.”

I define passion as an internal subconscious emotional calling that fuels the perspective, focus and actions you take as you live life and fulfill your purpose in life.

Passion can be hidden, such as the ability to play a game, become a skilled musician, or become an inventor. Passion does not exist on an unconscious level. It is something you think about every day and notice. Passion is more “energetic” in nature and therefore hard to see.

Some people say that they feel passionately about their families, children and hobbies. Although these things are admirable, they are not the only passions that I find enjoyable. They could also represent your passion, or a sign of it. Passion is not a term that is used to define an emotion like liking something. However, it is the bigger idea. It is all about your core characteristics that make you passionate about living and life.

Important to remember that passion and purpose are often misunderstood. According to me, purpose refers to the vehicle you drive because you are passionate about something: what is your purpose? Playing sports, music writing, literature reading, and parenting. Passion is your fuel, the energy and motivation that drives you. Passion is the ability to be creative, solve problems, and help others.

Your passion is your inner fire that burns when you use your talents and natural gifts to fulfill the purpose of this life. Passion is something you have before it can be used. However, it’s like an unlit match. Passion gets lit when you use your gifts, talents, and purpose and results in personal fulfillment and “life in the flow,” where everything works together and every area of your life is filled with joy, contentment, and synergy.

What is passion? Is it possible that everyone has a passion or are some people just more “emotional”?

You can see passion when you open your eyes and allow yourself to become an instrument by giving of all that you have. This will help you to recognize your own reflection, and you’ll be more likely to find your passion. After identifying your passion, and experiencing it, you will be able to concentrate in on those talents and gifts more. This will allow you to drive the most rewarding adventure of your lives.

Living a passion-filled life is a great reward! You will want it back once you taste it. This is an incredible overflowing feeling in your body, mind, heart and soul. This is energy, focus, direction, purpose and motivation. Humans all yearn for this. However, sometimes we find it too challenging to reach our goals. We give up and try to live in the moment.

“What life gives us?” You ask. I ask. Passion is not something you will find in an inner tube. Although you might get some glimpses of the inner tube, passion is not something you can find.

You can expect to face some tough decisions, difficult lessons, difficulties, and other adversities in life. You can choose how to handle them. You see, there is a quote that states, “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% what you do with it.” The more you can look at life as a lesson, something to learn from and a gift, the happier you will be. It is easier to view things through this lens if you live in your passion and purpose. This is what you desire. You want to feel happy, full of joy, and bring value to the world.

Jack Finds Passion

Jack became tired of stumbling through life. After some research, he discovered that he loves the outdoors and is invigorated and inspired by fresh air. He also enjoys strategic thinking and intelligence. When he was not playing golf, he had a couple of these passions: an appreciation for nature, strategic thinking and intelligence. Because he was short on time, he had given up golf. Ironically, after resuming his hobby, he now seems to have more energy and time.

He noticed that his work was becoming duller because he wasn’t reading statistical reports as much as he used to when he first began his career. When he first started his job, he was motivated by the statistics reports and became more interested in devising strategies to save money and time. He began to enjoy reading through the reports and was more interested in his work. This momentum allowed him to work faster and be more positive, as well as finish his tasks on time so that he could go home to the kids.

Jack arrived home in time so he had a break to go outside with his kids before dinner. He loved playing ball and learning how to bike ride. He was inspired to take the whole family on Saturday morning bike rides along the nearby park trails.

Jack came to realize that Jack had a passion for being in the outdoors, using his intelligence and developing solutions. This was thrilling and compelling. His life was full of joy and fulfillment. He felt fulfilled.

Now you know the meaning of passion. Now you know how to bring passion into your daily life. It is important to take time to identify your passions, and incorporate them into your life. The gift of passion is amazing. You can LIVE your life fully and have fun doing it. These passions can be integrated into your everyday life. The result will be that you’ll have more time to do everything than you ever did.
