Recently, I have been more conscious of the color purple and green. Since years ago, green has been my favorite color. However, lately purple is in the limelight more than usual. Both are shades of spirituality and balance, and both I believe they can be used together. “other,”Many people follow the paths they choose.
Green was a topic that drew me to my high school classmate. Her curly red hair was luscious and she wore little green t shirts. You might not think this is a major fashion statement but when you begin to look at what colors are being worn, it becomes apparent. I often see a predominant use of dark, grey, red, black and white. There may also be some dark greens. These are the same colors that I see in most of my cars. As a badge that I was different, I began wearing kelly-green T-shirts. An interior design book once said that green was the most harmony-friendly color. A balance between warm and cool, the colour of nature. It was also stated in the book that you could have more green shades than any other colour. This is actually quite fascinating! I was more impressed.
My grandmother loved purple. I didn’t notice my grandmother wearing purple sweatpants and purple sweatshirts all the time. It’s what grandmas usually wear. This was much more unique and unusual than I thought. Two of my best friends are passionate about purple, and they have made me think more about the topic. They are spiritual people and purple has a special energy/significance to them. Purple is also the top chakra. It’s the one for your spirit and not your body. As with green, purple can also be a place for cool and warmth to find harmony.
These colors have been a part of my life and I feel green represents worldly balance, while purple represents spiritual balance. For the physical and natural worlds, green is for balance, life force, life. Purple stands for Enlightenment. It is also a symbol of balance and well-being, both in the physical world as well as the emotional. This is how I like these colors together. It could be because the colors harmonize to create a balance. Maybe that’s what makes their appearance so appealing to me? Maybe it’s just something I play with my mind until the end of this life. In the contemplation of two colors, all of our questions about life rise and fall.
