There are three steps to success

“Oh, Ney, Ney, Ney, the throne? Do you know what the throne is, Ney? The throne. . . , is an over-decorated piece of furniture. It’s what’s behind the throne that counts: My brains, my ambitions, my desires, my hope. . . , my imagination, and above all. . . , my will.”

Napoleon is shown in the movie. “Waterloo.” (1971).

Your life may depend on the paper you’re about to see.

Three simple steps are required to achieve success. However, before we get into these, it is important to understand how success works.

Success is what?

It’s interesting to see how different people view success, and yet everyone views failure in the same way. Every person has their individual set of goals and success could simply be defined as achieving the things you most desire in your life. How is that possible?

Is it possible to succeed in life?

It is easy to believe it impossible to achieve success in your life. They make excuses when they look at successful people. These are the pitfalls of this approach. “reasons”They are nothing but a collection of myths. Let’s examine a few. Is it possible to be successful?

It is a quality education.

It is not uncommon for brilliant people to fail. Do you know any poor professors?

Are you able to do it?

All those who work in fields harvesting food. Although they work hard, few are successful.

Are you looking for connections? People that are close to you?

They seem to be able to find success out of nothing, aren’t they? Most people develop relationships along their path or once they are successful. Although it’s often a part of the success process, building connections is not always the reason people achieve their goals.

It is possible to be born in the right place.

A lot of people who were born to wealthy parents are miserable. Many more people who are successful were once poor.

Are you a natural talent?

Although it’s true that not all people have natural talents, there are still many who possess it. Natural talent is often a barrier to many of the most accomplished people in the world.

Is it destiny, fate, astrology, karma?

Many successful people don’t believe they have any control over their fate. However, some successful people may feel that way. However, successful people share a strong belief in their abilities to succeed.

You wanted to be able to walk as a child. Did you succeed? Everybody learns how to walk. Why isn’t everybody able to walk? You might say it’s not the same thing. It is.

The Success Model

You wanted to walk as a child.

And then you attempted to make it work, but were unsuccessful. Everyone fails.

It was a second attempt.

They failed yet again.

It was again unsuccessful.

However, one day you were able to succeed.

It is this method that we all learn:

o What do we want?

o We do our best to find it.

o We fail.

o We’ll try again.

o We fail again.

We keep trying and failing again and again

We will never get it all.

As one gets older, this strategy becomes less effective. We learn a subject in school and then get tested. Then we are awarded a grade. Each student graduates from school with some faulty beliefs that are based upon their successes or failures.

Are you a fan of this idea?

O “I’m not any good at math.”

O “I’m not an athlete.”

O “I have no natural talent in this.”

O “I have no coordination.”

O “I’m not a good public speaker.”

O “Computers are too complicated for me.”

O “I have dyslexia and can’t learn.”

These ideas, attitudes, and thoughts should be discarded. These ideas and attitudes are a result of our failures, but we could have continued if we tried. Actually, our system (life, school, etc.) teaches us how to fail. Failure is what the system we live in (school, life, etc.) teaches us.

Pain & Pleasure

Understanding the success model is essential. Why do people quit?

Failure is a sign of pain. This is when your fight/flight mechanism kicks in and you will look for reasons to stop. If you don’t have a logical explanation, your mind will come up with one. All of these excuses may sound quite plausible, but the mind is simply lying to you to stop you from achieving your goals.

It’s impossible to fail.

You can’t fail, only you will. One can see the blueprint of success.

[goal – attempt – failure – repeat attempts until successful]It is impossible to succeed at any task! This is the question you’ve probably never asked yourself.

How would you react if there was no way to succeed?

Success is ultimately dependent upon your ability to use your mind, as you’ll soon see.

You don’t have to believe me.

Creative Visualization

Russian scientists conducted a 1980 study with Olympic athletes. These athletes were taken and then divided into four categories.

o Group 1 = Physical Training at 100%

o Group 2: 75% of the training is physical, with 25% of mental.

o Group 3: 50% of the training is physical, with half the mental.

o Group 4, 25% Physical Training with 75% Mental Training

Guess who was the winner? The fourth group! These were the ones who had done the most mental training. Group 1 was the most poor, which includes those who had no training in mental skills.

Remember that athletes didn’t just think about being the best.

Over and over, they remained focused on a single movement. It was through this that they were able to see themselves performing the actions necessary to achieve success. All of their senses were used (sight and hearing, touch, smell, touch, taste, etc.). If possible, the students watched successful performances and tried to imagine themselves doing the same. Today, athletes are very familiar with this method of mental training.

How to use Negative Thoughts

However, positive thinking isn’t enough for success. Positive thinking can be a key to your success. Consider it like this: If you are heading somewhere, and take out your map. Two things are required: Where you’re at the moment and your destination. Negative thoughts will tell you exactly where you’re at the moment. You can use them to help you decide what to do to increase your success. It’s like hitting a golf ball, and not knowing where it went. Without taking stock of your current situation, you would feel lost. Use your negative thoughts as a guide to where you need to go on the path to success.

The Failure of Self-Judgment

Remember to not judge. Don’t judge yourself if you do something. Many people who play chess or pool will quickly make excuses. “I never play this game. I’m not very good at it.”The most successful athletes don’t judge themselves. Instead they practice and develop their skills every day.

This causes the flight or fight mechanism to stop working, and they can quit.

Persistence & Resolve

It is important to combine positive and negative thoughts, an understanding the success model, as well as the perseverance that results from your willpower or determination to reach your goals. How do you create persistence? But how do you build willpower?

Knowing how success functions is key to building your determination. Everyone will make mistakes until eventually they succeed. You wouldn’t give up if failure seemed impossible. Your ego, your pride and willpower are also linked to your willpower. More importantly, faith and determination are directly linked to willpower. How can you build faith?

Building Your Resolve

Three things make up faith:

1. Desire.

2. Belief.

3. Expectancy.

Combining these three ingredients creates the power of faith, which fuels our willpower to succeed.

Desire

Ray Bradbury, a famous writer and poet, was my mentor. It was amazing to me that Ray Bradbury said that he wasn’t born gifted in writing. He was instead born with the desire to write. Ray Bradbury said that the best writers don’t write, they just burn. People who are successful have an insatiable desire to be what they do. My hobby is juggling. However, I wasn’t born with the coordination and talent to juggle. So, why is it I am able to juggle and not others? Because of my burning desire to learn to juggle. I can still remember my thoughts. “I’m going to learn to juggle or I’ll die trying!”It’s like a rocket. To reach the stars you must burn. People enjoy thinking about the reasons they desire something. While these motivations can help, it is best to just think about the desire as much as you possibly can. Your desire for it will grow if you keep thinking about it.

Belief

Most people don’t believe they are capable of achieving their goals. Many will list their many failures. The interesting thing is that many people will simply ask other people who are unsuccessful if they think it’s possible. They will usually tell people that failure is impossible and give a variety of reasons why, such as it being a scam or they need to have money in order to succeed. People will find experts to support their excuses. Even experts can be wrong.

Take a look at these:

Beethoven was told by his music teacher that he could not be a good composer.

Einstein was only four years of age when he began to talk.

Henry Ford was bankrupt shortly before starting to build cars.

Isaac Newton failed grade school.

Michael Jordan was removed from his high school basketball squad.

Steven Spielberg graduated high school.

Thomas Edison was taught by a man who thought he was too dumb to understand anything.

Winston Churchill did not pass the sixth grade.

Walt Disney got fired by an agency for not being able to draw.

The IBM chairman said: “I think there is a world market for about 5 computers.”

One group might be doing it while the other one will discuss why it isn’t possible.

You can increase your faith by thinking about it often.

Expectancy

The hope of achieving your goals is called expectancy. This comes from strong determination, supported by strong beliefs and from visualizing yourself at the goal. This is the most critical step. Visualize yourself reaching your goals. You should do this at least once daily.

How you think is key to your success.

If you focus on what your beliefs, desires and expectations are, it will give you the motivation to achieve them. Keep your eyes on your goals. You can spend time each day visualizing yourself reaching your goals as though you do.

A Simple Exercise

Below is a quick and easy technique to help you achieve your goals.

You can let go of all your negativity thoughts, emotions, feelings, and judgements for just a second.

Imagine a huge eraser wiping out their memories.

Now imagine you are already achieving your goal. Begin to feel it. Visualize it.

Continue this step each day until your goal is achieved.

Each day, make an effort to take the time to envision your goals.

Three Steps to Success

Once you have a better understanding of how it works, these are the steps towards success. They are all based on previous ideas. The three elements of desire, belief, and expectancy are interconnected in a way.

1. A Clear and Determinable Chief Aim

Napoleon’s marshals (including Marshal Ney) made the observation at the start of this article. They wanted to get Napoleon to quit the French throne. You can see that it was not easy to persuade one of the greatest people on earth to let go of his ambitions. Remember that goals are powerful. A goal is the key to achieving anything. Without a goal, it is impossible to build a bridge or a house. You can’t paint a picture without a vision of your desired outcome.

My friend was a Vietnam War veteran. I was fascinated by his story. He explained that while others were worried about their deaths, he was drawing. He created a detailed portrait of a female character from his imagination during the war. He said, “This is the woman I’m going to marry.”He was in Japan a year later and the exact same person that was in his portrait was still there. It still gives me chills to think about.

Many people believe that more details are better. This is false. Your goals will be more successful if you are more specific. Be specific with your goals.

To be successful at any endeavor, you must have a clearly defined chief objective, which is supported by an intense desire. Failure is guaranteed if your goals are not written down.

2. Daily Visualization

You can use these three elements to get the results you seek.

Spend some time each day visualizing your goals. It’s as if they are already within reach.

You will be amazed at the amazing things that will happen when you do this. People will appear out of nowhere to offer their help. It may be that people will offer to help you. “just happen”You will be there at the right time. Things and situations that you cannot control can help. Because the universe is a vast and abundant resource, it will help you achieve your goal.

It is impossible to call luck. The universe moves in the direction that those who have a plan. This is what we refer to as luck. All who are willing to make use of opportunities will be rewarded.

Do not confuse this with a form “positive thinking,”You must use your negative thoughts as a guide to your success. Take a few moments to notice the negative emotions, thoughts and situations that arise and mentally erase them. Replace these things with a picture of what you want. This is how you program your subconscious mind so that it can achieve the goals you desire.

3. Get involved

This is the most neglected step, but it’s crucial. You can only succeed if you do not take action. Think about what it would look like if your grocery list was written, you thought of what you desired, then you didn’t get anywhere. Always take steps towards achieving your goals.

This step is often a failure for many people. They still feel fearful because of the past mistakes they have made. The second step of visualization (imagining yourself reaching your goals) can be very helpful. However, the fear must be viewed as an illusion.

Assume you’re making free shots in basketball. Imagine that you have a goal to score 10 baskets. However, you don’t have to take 10 shots. Who cares how many shots it takes to score those 10 baskets, whether you have taken 10 shots, 20 or 100 shots? If you give up on shooting, you’ll fail. Failing is unavoidable!

You can use your desires, beliefs, and expectations to help you create the energy to move forward. But remember to only get into the car when you are going somewhere. Start by getting out your map, then pack your bag (desire), and get into the car. Don’t be discouraged if you do get lost on the journey. Your map will help you get lost.

Scientists have confirmed that matter and energy are interchangeable. This is how it works: You first set a goal based on what you want. You then think about the goal, visualizing it constantly in your head. Next, you take action and go outside to make it happen.

Jose Silva, the researcher behind The Silva Method has these words to share about imagination.

“Visualization is the beginning of creation. Everything has to be done first in the world of the mind before it can be materialized. The past is composed of materialized thoughts. The present is a process of materializing thoughts. The future is composed of conceived thoughts not yet materialized. The physical world is a duplicate – a shadow of what takes place in the world of the mind. You must strengthen your faculty of visualization.”
