My first experience with golf was when I assumed that if the ball wanted to travel farther, you had to exercise more. It is because stronger players can hit the balls harder and the ball goes farther. This will lead to fewer strokes.
Wrong!
I’ve found strength does not necessarily translate into success in golf. A skinny, little man like me can hit the golf ball just as well as the bodybuilder who is around him!
Now, back to the good stuff
My thought process was flawed. This cost me time and effort that I wouldn’t have had if someone else advised. It was a frustrating, confusing, angry, exhausting, frustrating time. I thought it would never end.
I wasn’t going to give up. I learned that getting farther doesn’t necessarily translate into hitting the ball harder. It is important to learn how you hit the ball. smarterTo critique some things, learn how to improve your swing. This can instantly improve your accuracy and distance. It is important to remain relaxed. Your golf swing will suffer if you become tense or your hands get stiff.
