Is there a single magic move that you must make in your golf swing?

There are probably four ( 4) things in a Golf Swing that you could call magic. Because when performed correctly, the entire thing reacts almost as if it were a magical touch. Like there was some external control of the swing.

It explodes from the clubhead and it feels like you haven’t done much. It is effortless. It is also almost anti-climatic because you have to expend huge amounts of energy just to get a bad shot. You would think so.

But, truthfully, you wouldn’t admit to having ever felt it. You don’t know how you got that unique feeling once in your life.

It is possible that you will never get the chance to ask this question, so it’s not a risk for you to create a bad story later.

You don’t need to answer the question, but I asked it. Simply answer the question. You will find the answer.

It’s all in my head.

My friends and I were playing at the club’s last day.

It was blowing at 30 MPH. It was a difficult day. It was the kind of day that balance and swing speed are very important.

A headwind on a par 4, a little dog leg left, presented me with the challenge of facing it. As I sized up the conditions in my mind I decided I would test the theory of “when it’s breezy, swing easy.”

At the same time I figured that I would hit a little cut shot and fade it around the corner. I would have a wedge in the green. It’s an excellent idea.

The problem is that I needed to hit the shot far enough otherwise I’d have been blocked from the next shot.

The cut shot is easy to get, but the distance it requires and the trajectory it follows are a little different from my typical. The wind could have a significant effect.

It was a bit too open so I thought that swinging my foot along the line of my feet would be enough to give me enough time to accomplish this. That damn wind.

Halfway down, in the towards impact, I made a terrible mistake. Yes, that’s correct. I was wrong.

It was clear that I wanted to make it around the corner. Blame it. Smack the snot out of it. It’s your turn.

So I did.

The shot was absolutely horrible. I could swing as hard as any guy can, but I never hit a shot that was cut. More like a boomerang. Amazing!

This is how I refer to it.

This shot is one that almost I would never have made. The point is that the bad stuff happens with your golf ball when you don’t do the right things in the swing.

No matter your handicap, it does not matter who you might be. It doesn’t matter what your handicap is. You get what you put into your swing. There is no doubt about that.

You can see that good players ignore the basics and get bad results. Poor results are earned by a player who neglects basic principles.

Both are identical!

Let’s now find out what the first step is in your downswing. Let’s see!

Let me first make it clear that this is a big assumption. This is because you’re already in a good position in your backswing. It’s best to turn your computer off if it isn’t.

The first mistake will cause you to be confused and to continue correcting the errors until the end.

You can do it easily, I’m referring to the backswing. This is the first.

Yes, and the next. I want to remind everyone that good grips are essential for any player. By now you know what a good grip is, so now would be a good time to take a ” good grip”

Drum Roll! It is not turning your hips that the first magic move in your downswing should be.

We are sorry to have broken a long-held belief. A formula to reverse your weight loss is turning the hips. Don’t do it.

There are three components to your first magical move in your downswing.

Here they are:

1. The first step is to move your hips laterally toward the target. Keep your head in the exact same position relative to your body. Understanding the importance of these two actions is crucial.

The bump laterally of the hips shifts the weight to the forward leg, this eliminates the reverse weight shift and the “no weight shift” keeping your head in its original position is probably not possible, but the idea is to not move your head toward the target. This means you should keep your head back from the ball. This is important for body mechanics.

Stress Free Golf Swing

This will cause your hips to move laterally, and your head should be behind the ball. You’ll now find yourself in a position that your right shoulder is higher than your left. Then you can hit the target from within the line.

You cannot reach the target line from this position. Nice right?

You skeptics. It will be obvious that I did not say anything about your hips turning. You might have been told that it is necessary to do this. You need to turn your hips.

Deny it.

This is the proof that your hips will move regardless of whether or not you are trying. It is not difficult to do.

You don’t need to be in the set-up position. A club is not necessary. You don’t need a club.

You will now move your hips laterally, drag them along as slow and steady as you can. Keep going.

Keep bumping your hips. Soon you’ll notice that it is physically impossible to go any further. And guess what?

Your hips turn. It’s there! You have now made it clear. Move your hips. You don’t even have to do it. It will happen automatically.

You can try it!

2. You can also drop your right elbow right to the side, but keep the angle between the clubshaft of your left arm and the clubstick. Also, remember to keep the angle between you right wrist and right forearm.

It sounds complicated.

There is good news. This is not something you have to forget. All you need to do is know it.

When you bump your hips laterally, and you were in a good backswing position, your arms will
automatically drop into the correct position at you right hip. This is the only thing you can do. Another drum roll.

You can do absolutely nothing.

It’s not possible to do nothing. Let your hands and arms just follow along. Don’t try to make them do something. They can be turned into stone or wood or metal, or anything else you like. However, you should not force them to do anything.

This is an excellent example of how to get out of your own way. Your arms should follow your shoulders and you will bump your hips laterally. The correct position will be found. It’s pretty amazing, right?

3. Just hit the golf ball. Now you will be able to hit the ball with precision and power from the inside.

This is how it looks. Grab a stick and get in a backswinging position. You can slowly move your hips laterally and your arms, hands, and fingers will go wherever you want.

Do they reach your right hip just below the knee? They ought to have. Continue doing this until you experience the sensation of the bump-and-drop. This isn’t going to be an easy task. You will be able to hit the ball like a magician if this is your goal.

This is what Tiger Woods does. Tiger Woods, for one. Watch his swing. Pay attention to where he is putting his hips as he bumps them laterally.

You can see his knees and notice that his arms are dropping. Both of them are bent forward and leaning toward their target. They are clearly separated. A bow-legged expression.

While his head stays where it was when he set up the camera, there are times when you might see him lower or shorter. It’s a minor problem we do not have to be concerned about.

This is because Tiger Woods’ golf swing has tremendous torque. This is something we could never do.

We can achieve exactly the same positions as Tiger Woods by simply doing simple things right in our golf swings.

Does it work? It is. It can be as magical and as easy as you wish. The ball will fly as though by magic. This is close enough, right?

This is what you should do. It works, I swear. Although it’s a difficult lesson to learn, it is still very useful. If you want to continue playing golf, then it is a skill that will be required of you.

You should learn it as soon as possible.

Be careful. Pay attention to the other rangers. You have heard someone listen to you, someone has listened, someone has listened, someone has listened, someone has listened, someone else.

Every good player makes this first step down. It is a good idea to do it.

Go get ’em! Tell me about your experience.
