The Le Meridien St Julians Hotel & Spa in Balluta Bay is one of the most luxurious 5 star hotels in Malta. It is a beautiful hotel that I’ve been to a couple of times. This article will be as informative and objective as I can.
First, it is a very beautiful location. Balluta Bay, located close to Valletta Island’s Capital, is beautiful. It has romantic restaurants over the water and beautiful gardens (the Independence Gardens), as well as nice scenery. There’s also a promenade which allows you to explore the bay from almost any point on your own.

You can recharge your energy at the modern Lotus Fitness Center, located on the second level of the complex. Here you have the option to choose from personal training and fun aerobics classes.

You will find the Executive Lounge on the 9th floor. This lounge is available only to those who reserve an Executive Room or Suite. There are many amenities, including daily newspapers, complimentary drinks and internet connectivity.
You can also use the le Meridien St Julians business center to host conferences or business meetings if you’re in Balluta Bay for business.
Take your child to The Penguin Club, where they can have lots of fun. The club is located on the ground floor and is open to children aged 2-12 years. At the Penguin Club, you can also host parties.
Two swimming pools are available: The Lotus Indoor pool, and The “La Bajja” Outdoor pool.
There are 2 parking lots: an underground and one outdoor. If you’re a hotel guest, it is free to park in either one. My stay was without any parking issues.
