What is the Best Golf Bag for You?

You should always have a bag for your equipment, no matter if you’re walking or driving a cart. This is what we will do. You can carry the following items in your golf bag:

Sunscreen– It doesn’t matter where you are located, sunscreen is essential to protect your skin from the damaging rays. Even when it is not too hot, the sun can still cause skin problems. You are still exposed to the damaging UV rays. Fair-skinned individuals can turn yellow from a cloudy day. Talk to your doctor about how much SPF protection you should use. There are many options for sunscreen, making it easier to keep with you or to use during your golf round.

Golf Hat: Your sunscreen and your golf cap will protect your skin against sunburns. A golf hat can also keep you cool on those scorching hot days. A golf hat is also great for ladies, as it will keep the wind out of your eyes.

Baggies for golf gloves – This is a cheap and easy way to prolong the life of your gloves. Baggies will help you keep your gloves safe and last for longer.

It is easier to use a cart or staff bag as a golf training aid. The golf training aids used will also affect the outcome. You won’t feel the extra weight if your turns are being worked on with an extra shaft. Even if your bag is carried, you will still be able to walk. Some putting aids can be quite bulky, so they would not fit in a bag.

Ball Markers: If you’re like me, I prefer to use loose change as my marker. The quarters from the different states I’ve visited are what I prefer to use. You’re right, it is silly but I like the fact that it keeps me from going to work. HAHAHA! I seem to always need additional change in the club. It is possible to collect balls markers on the courses you play. A second baggie can help protect them and keep them from getting damaged.

Golf balls – It seems natural that golf balls would be carried in your bag, but it’s not. It is also important to remember that a tournament may have a one-ball policy. This rule states that the ball cannot be pulled out of your pocket and dropped into the water. After hitting a ball into the water or out of bounds, the ball that you place in play must match the one you had before. You can change the number, but this is all that matters.

These are just some of the things that you should have in your golf bag. You will find your own standard for what you should carry, as each area will have its own rules.
