Fiber Content

The perfect summer tee shirt is 100% cotton. But, you can also choose from a variety of blends to suit your individual needs. Although cotton is comfortable and absorbent, synthetic fabrics such as polyester are more durable and less likely to shrink. The addition of polyester fibers to clothing can increase wrinkle resistance and allow them to dry faster than other cotton clothes.

Shrink Resistance

Unfinished cotton tshirts will shrink to 5%, which is significantly more than an increase in size. Whenever possible, try to buy pre-shrunk cotton t-shirts or cotton-polyester-blend t-shirts to maintain proper size after washing.
